We all know that sound systems get older. As they do, some equipment starts to show its age. Something as straightforward as a broken microphone cable can bring your whole system to its knees. Many churches have very old equipment, cobbled together over the years, and as a consequence, it is barely up to the job required. We also know that as people become more accustomed to high quality audio in the home, they begin to expect more from the church's sound system, and all too often it cannot cope. Or it's expected that the volume of the PA should be the same as then listening to the radio at home. It is so frustrating when a reading by children is lost, or when at a key moment, feedback occurs. The mad rush before a service to find a working mains lead can be very unsettling. Graham has the experience to be able to help you to get the most from your existing equipment - I have a wide practical experience in the equipment used by churches of all sizes. I am able to advise you on your system as a whole, right down to the best choices of microphones, even cables and, yes, we can even replace lapel microphone clips. Contact me if you want a health check on your sound system - I'm are sure it will be time well spent. |
